CD4+ T cell, also known as T helper cell (Th cell), is a type of T cells that play an important role in the immune system, particularly in the adaptive immune system. Primary human CD4+ T cells were isolated from umbilical cord blood (CB) mononuclear cells (MNCs) using negative immunomagnetic separation techniques. CB was collected using citrate-phosphate-dextrose (CPD) as an anticoagulant.
