StemVivo's human peripheral blood leukopaks are collected as a highly concentrated, low volume apheresis collection from normal donors. As such, leukopaks are a highly sought after source of human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) consisting of approximately 40 x 10^6 white blood cells per mL, with 30% monocytes, and 60% lymphocytes on average. These cells can be used in a wide range of research such as CAR-T cell, T cell biology, macrophage research, B-cell research, and natural killer cell research.
All leukopaks are collected with IRB-approved protocols and documentation. Apheresis units are collected by Spectra Optia Apheresis systems using acid-citrate-dextrose solution A (ACDA) as an anti-coagulant.
