Human Peripheral blood provide an excellent source for CD19+ B cells. Using Leukocyte Reduction System (LRS) cones, a byproduct from apheresis collection, StemVivo has the unique ability to provide isolated CD19 B cells from a large bank of donors to meet any research needs. B cells play a key role in the immune system as part of the adaptive immune response; these cells produce and release antibodies to specific pathogen epitopes. CD19 is a common marker used to identify both mature and immature B cells.
Primary human CD19+ B cells are isolated from peripheral blood (PB) mononuclear cells (MNCs) using positive immunomagnetic separation techniques.
